My poem.

The big day out

WAS GREAT!
Off to Palmerston North
in our parents cars.
 First stop was
nature park
for a bush walk
followed by Daytona for
go kart racing.
Down into a tunnel
to see glow worms,
rather freaky
because you rely
on the person in front but
the little lights of the worms were
easy to see.
Off to the lido
where we swam,
that was fun,
we ate our lunch
and had a run around
before coming home!
Super day away.
    

Fascinating fact

Did you know that a flying squirrel lives in pretty much the same habitats as a normal squirrel some are nests, trees or holes like birds. They have lots of predators like hawks, raccoons, opossums, wild cats, foxes, large snakes, owls and eagles . They are endangered too.
